BSMMU's vice chancellor, pro vice-chancellors and treasurer resigned on Sunday.
"I and my colleagues have resigned for personal reasons. The letters of resignation have been sent to the health secretary by fax," VC Nazrul Islam told us.
Islam, pro-VCs Chowdhury Ali Kawser and Mohammad Kamal and treasurer Ruhul Amin Miah sent the letters at around 2:20pm.
All four were appointed to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University during the past caretaker government regime.
